The toys I drew – and in this post you can see them in their pre-sketched phase. They have since been watercoloured and painted but we will wait until after the exhibition has started, as so not to spoil the surprise for many who will be attending my exhibition ;). These toys as you can tell, are from an era gone by, vintage toys but still pre-loved
Well after many months of hard work, I have just about nearly finished the body of works. My aim was to do at least 15 works, and I have just about achieved that! 1 more to go and it will be 15 but I have also decided I would like to do 2 or 3 more drawings but in colour pencil by the beautiful Faber Castell series.
So far for the exhibition, I have done the artist statement, designed and printed the brochure, and now about to start the catalogue and frame the last of the artworks with matt framing. Ah if I had the funds I would get them framed with solid frames!
A sneak preview of what is happening in my art studio… you can see from the mess, how hard at work I have been… and enjoying it! 🙂
