Tarot Card and the deck are ready launched!

The art collaboration of creating a tarot card deck I have been a part of for the last 5 months has finally launched! 78 artists from all over the world designed a card each, and mine was Five of Cups and now the deck is complete, and the team managing the project have put it on kickstarter, an artist crowdfunding platform and this is where people can buy a deck of the cards plus other rewards! You can see the deck and purchase a set at this link on kickstarter (click on the image below)

Who likes rainbows?

An abstract of formations throughout lots of colour. I like to call these rainbow works but could come up with something better I think? What do you think of these colours and the whole abstract? They are large size 1 metre by 1 metre framed. Sorry the images are watermarked extensively to prevent unscrupulous people copying my artworks!ImageImageImageImageImage

Port Noarlunga the coastal town inspires….

I recently held a solo art exhibition at the Port Noarlunga Arts Centre on the town Port Noarlunga where I have resided in and near for the last 15 years since moving from Melbourne. The exhibition was a success and 9 out of 20 artworks were sold. People enjoyed the images I illustrated of shop fronts along the town’s street and a couple of people from interstate came to the exhibition during it’s month there and bought the artworks which was a thrill for me! I love seeing my artworks travel around the country and even abroad! Thank you to all who visited and viewed and those who bought my artworks 🙂

The images that sold are posted in this post. You can see more of my Port Noarlunga illustrations at this link on my website: http://www.chelledestefano.com/adelaide-collection.html

Changes to the blog….

Hello, I’m back after a long time and I apologise but at the same time I needed to focus on other areas of gypsysnail’s arts like making a proper website (which is http://www.chelledestefano.com), many exhibitions and new art projects! I will outline each of these things but first I want to explain what is happening with my blog now.

You will notice the title Gypsysnail’s Arts has changed to Chelle Destefano – Projects and What’s Happening Buzz Feed and this is because I wanted to keep my real name as my artist name as people know who I am and it is easier for all to refer to me as the artist, and gypsysnails arts will just be my pen name (as in sketch name) as a business name for the future, and because I want to use this blog as a platform for keeping everyone updated on what is happening in my artist sphere as an easier means of communicating rather than slapdash updates onto my actual website. A blog is an easier way of putting updates right there and letting everyone who subscribes to my blog know what is happening and then they can share to their media social networks my updates/projects/etc if they wanted to.

I will be ready to post the first updates shortly
