The artwork is finally finished! It has been framed beautifully by Leeza Peters and Peter Bates of Artisan Custom Framing Gallery (in 1099 South Road, Melrose Place, South Australia, Australia). A beautiful black matt with gold trimming, and a gold frame to finish it off! This artwork is off to London to be in my solo exhibition at the Australian Embassy on 25th October. The opening night will be on 25th October, 6 pm so if you are in London, come to my exhibition and see my artworks on show and meet me, the artist!
In this artwork for the upcoming Blue Ghosts exhibition in London, October 2016, I’ve illustrated and begun painting. Prior to beginning the painting, I digitally coloured the sketched artwork to test colour matchings and match paint colours! The result is below….. The real painted version will be finished very soon.
About the artwork – I’m holding the moon, as a sign of love and nurturing and belief that we should all love each other and give world peace. Other symbols in the artwork mean freedom, space, humbleness (flowers on floor) and respect for ourselves and our surrounds. The mediums for the painting are gouache, acrylic, watercolour, ink, and soft pastel – all which enhance the colour and expression of the story.
I recently had my exhibition at Gasworks Art Park, in Melbourne, Australia and it was a great success with a great turn out at the opening night that was on 17th May! I sold 3 pieces. Below are photos of the artworks and of the exhibition and the stories of each artwork.

I am having a solo art exhibition in Melbourne at Gasworks, in Albert Park (21 Graham St, Albert Park, Victoria, Australia). The opening night is on 17th May, from 6 pm til 8 pm.
The exhibition is called Wait of the World and is about the world changes and corruption. You will have seen two of my artworks in my previous posts, these are part of the Wait of World series for the exhibition. There will be 10 artworks in my exhibition. See the invitation below for more details.
I won’t give away too much info but this is for the Wait of the World exhibition that I am holding in Melbourne, with the opening night being on the 17th May, 6 pm to 8 pm, and a dinner afterwards, but the dinner starts at 7.30 pm, so it is flexible for anyone who may want to leave the exhibition at 7.30 pm and head over to The Emerald Elephant nearby.
This artwork is in progress and you can see it features a masonary lodge hall, and a horse in it… the power of overcoming barriers that happened back in the old days when masonary lodge members were banned from having meetings that they needed to go underground, and fought for openness and acceptance of the membership.
The artwork is all finished!! And I’m damn proud of it! 😉 It will be in a deck of cards as well as the Wait of World solo exhibition I am having in Melbourne, opening on the night of 17th May at 5.30 pm, at the Gas Works Arts Centre gallery in Albert Park, Victoria.

Meanwhile, I have been polishing up and honing my drawing skills by doing 5 – 15 minute sketches and this is one I did…. theme of the ocean… and includes gold fish!
I will be adding the accentuated gold details to the clock a bit later on….. and of course the rest of the artwork. I hope to have it finished within two days. It has been the most challenging but amazing artwork to work on!
At this moment I have been working on a carnival themed Prague for a global collaboration of 80 artists that create a card each. Mine is 10 of pentacles. This year it is ‘Carnival’ theme and I would like to share the progress of my artwork with you tonight. I had started out with a grey led pencil drawing…. as seen below…..
and below is the inking of the artwork in black pen….
And now I have begun the watercolour process…
I’m using Koi watercolour pan paint with some tube paints by Liquitex and Windsor & Newton watercolours with a water brush pen. I will update further later
